Creating and organizing pages (rt = 0:00)It is important to create pages to break up the information on your website. This will allow users to navigate your site to find the specific information they need. Creating pages for specific projects or units is always a great idea. Do not rely on your main (home) page for your day-to-day information. This will eliminate clutter and keep your site easy to navigate.

Using the calendar function (rt = 0:00)The calendar application on your TeacherSite can be a valuable tool if used correctly. This item will allow you to create a calendar of important assignments and tests (you can also include information on what is covered each day). Students will benefit from this tool as they can double-check important test or project dates.

Uploading files to your website (rt = 0:00)Teachers can also upload documents onto their calendar so students can download and print assignment sheets that have gone missing. Files can also be uploaded on any web page on your site. All uploaded files on each page will be found on the bottom under "Related Files".

Linking a Google folder to your website (rt = 6:18)Are you sick of constantly uploading assignments to your website? Here is a great way for Google Doc's (Drive) users to save time and frustration by creating folders in your Google account (your assignments must be on Google Doc's to work) and sharing them through a link in your website so that others can view, download, and print. Don't worry, viewers will not be able to change your documents... as long as you follow the directions!
